学生的呼喊让Reid回过神来。

他们在FBI学院演讲，讲到之前抓获的一个对爱伦。坡作品有偏执倾向的杀人犯，有学生要求BAU成员背诵爱伦。坡的诗作。

Reid背完之后，沉默得没有任何反应。

“Yes？”Reid看了看其他成员，应道。

“You　miss　her”留着西瓜头造型的男孩问他。

“Whom？”Reid问道，“Are　we　still　in　Edgar　Allan　Poe？”

“Yeah；so　I　was　wondering　if　you　ever　met　your　Annabel　Lee　before　you　started　the　poem”男孩道，“And　after　that　I’m　pretty　sure　you　met　your　Annabel　Lee　and　then　I　asked　if　you　missed　her。”

“No；and　yes”Reid抿抿嘴唇，“I　did　meet　my　Annabel　Lee。And　then；I　became　someone　else；and　met　my　someone　else；whom　I　missed　for　too　manyyears；and　will　miss　until　the　end　of　my　life。”

提问的男孩是个不看到真相不罢休的熊孩子。

“孩子，你的好奇心太强了。”Rossi和Hotch同时出声。

大厅里的学生都笑了出来。

Reid看着满眼强烈求知欲的男孩，答道。

“Renoir。”Reid出声。

“I　became　Renoir。”

演讲结束时，好奇心奇强的熊孩子在一旁等着Reid。

“If　my　questions　reminded　you　of　your　not…so…pleasant　memories；I’m　sorry；Doctor。Reid。”

“They　are　pleasant　memories”Reid看看孩子的胸牌，把自己的名片给了男孩，“Latryen。　Oneday；if　you　e　to　BAU；just　call　me。”

回到办公室的BAU小组，继续进入下一轮的罪犯追击。

一个星期前BAU小组新加入了FBI卧底八年的打拐专家Kate　Callahan。

演讲回来第二天，Kate看着Reid衣柜旁边空着的、同样写着‘Reid’字样的衣柜，幽默地问JJ：“这衣柜是空的还是小博士一个人两个衣柜？”

JJ叹口气：“本来是Irene的衣柜。”

“Irene？”Kate反应过来，“So　he　became　Renoir！What　happened　to　herI　never　saw　her。”
